Some photos I took of West Campus during demolition day 9. There’s some nice photos of the main building and some of the demolition remains by the red building. It is imperative that we continue to keep our voices heard and focus on getting the city council to listen to us on the 26th. More photos and some article scans coming soon. More photos coming probably tomorrow of the Rally and Demolition Day 2. Be sure to send anything you might want posted.

A great article posted by a local resident and advocate against the destruction of buildings in the area. Worth a repost here for those who may want to check it out.

We are submitting the petition signatures to the City Council at the meeting on March 26th. Once again, I just want to remind everyone that if you live out of the area or know someone who does you can send a letter of support to Debbie Cather 2208 Sunset Dr. Pekin, Illinois 61554.

You can also fax your letter to 309-382-3767 or email them to debkc1957@yahoo.com.

Please pass this information on to those who may not be aware of these efforts because they don’t have a facebook account. Here is the petition for return by Monday the 26th. Please spread the word, get many to sign, and return them via the above avenues. Thanks for your support.
